Brief on projects
School for underprivileged children
Global Orphanage Trust, from its humble beginnings, has now succeeded to make the people who live in the slums realise the importance of education. The school began over 10 years ago and it is now an important part of the lives of those living in Patel Nagar, Faridabad.
Women empowerment project
The aim of this project is to teach basic job skills to the women who live in the slums. These women are now manufacturing a variety of handcrafted products such as handbags, laptop cases, wallets, scarves and folders.
Healthcare projects
Global Orphanage Trust runs clinic with male and female doctors who distribute free medication to people in need. The Trust also organises free medical camps.
Orphanage
The Trust take complete responsibility for the boarding and lodging as well as educational needs of 8 orphan children. The Trust also provides support to 2 other local orphanages.
Community project
This project is dedicated to the migrant families who come in search of jobs in Delhi or surrounding areas. The Trust provides education to these migrant children as their families are unable to afford traditional schooling.
