Healthcare Projects
Healthcare in the cities is expensive and those living in the slums are unable to access medical treatment as they cannot afford it. The Trust has set up a variety of medical projects within the slums. These include free access to male and female medical professionals, family planning advice, medication and basic laboratory tests and treatments.
Global Orphanage Trust recognised the lack of female medics within the slums. The Trust has employed female doctors specifically to encourage women to seek appropriate treatment. The Trust also organises free medical camps.
